This course will cover all the modern advancements in implant dentistry. Implant level I will start with the basics but will quickly move into the specific procedures, products and protocols used to provide valuable implant service to your patient population. Regardless of whether you are new to implant dentistry or have been doing it for a while, this course will provide many answers to long-term clinical challenges in implant dentistry. The Objectives of this course are for the participant to be able to:
- Access and use all of the radiographic options available in the diagnosis and treatment planning of implant cases. Utilize peri-apical, panoramic, and CT scan x-rays appropriately.
- Apply guided and non-guided implant surgical protocols
- Utilize guided and non-guided implant surgical protocols
- Discuss basics of implant surgery and grafting protocols
- Discuss the business aspect of implant dentistry
- Discuss restorative protocols, including standard or digital impressions, using traditional impressions with model scanners or scan bodies with intraoral scanners
- Proficiently construct surgical guides using different modalities
- Discuss how technological advances have improved the surgical and restorative aspects of implant dentistry
